PROPOSAL 6 DAYS (5 NIGHTS)

 01st MAY - JUL(UP TO 15)- AUG (FROM 20) - SEPT – OCT 15th

FOR  GROUPS

 

1st Day: Meeting at Bologna (Florence, Pisa) airport with our Tour Leader.

Transfer and accommodation a the hotel “Il Fondaccio” *** in Lizzano in Belvedere. 

Dinner and overnight.
 
 
2nd Day  Early breakfast. Transfer to Parmesan cheese factory 7.45 and visit. This mature Parmigiano Reggiano won for the 2nd time the "World Cheese Award". After the visit, if the weather  is good,  short walk to Azienda Agricola “La Casaccia” to know how prepare fresh cheeses like ricotta and after  try to become experts cheesemakers. Cheese tasting. At around 4.00pm  cookery lesson on homemade stuffed pasta. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
 
 
3rd Day Breakfast. Transfer to Spilamberto (MO) to visit  Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Museum and the Acetaia Sociale (vinegar cellar) with Balsamic Vinegar tasting; Transfer to Vignola (MO), a very well conserved medieval town also famous for Cherry. Free time for lunch. Transfer to Monteveglio (BO) to visit his famous abbey; visit to a winery (Emilian wines like Pignoletto or Lambrusco) with final wine tasting. Dinner based on balsamic vinegar dishes at the hotel and overnight.
 
 
4th Day Breakfast. Visit to an old mill and a chestnut forest. Lunch in a chestnuts dryer  in Granaglione village and local artisan beers tasting. Cookery lesson based on chestnuts  at 15.00  Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
 
 
5th Day Breakfast.  Transfert to “Azienda Agricola Savigni”. A path of taste starting from the organic farm, where animals live wild, to the modern sausage factory. Light lunch in the farmer. Cookery lesson on meat and meat-sauce (like bolognaise) 

Special Dinner in a tipycal restaurant and overnight at Hotel
 
 
6th Day Breakfast. Transfer to Bologna. (Florence, Pisa). 3 hours guided tour. Tipycal lunch together and pick up to the airport.

IMPORTANT
 
Our Hotel has got a mini-bus for 9 people (inlc. The driver) so we can use it for small groups (less than 8 people)
 
Every dinner is 4 courses meal: starter; pasta; main course; dessert. We are organized for having different  plates every night.
 
If you choose to don’t have a Tour Leader cookery lesson will be only  in English.

Personal insurance is not included

It's possible to book extra night in Bologna at the end of the tour (or Pisa, Florence)
